Born Whitni Rachelle Eatmon on March 2, 1986 in San Diego, California, this R&B princess has been singing since the tender age of 10. She worked hard throughout her adolescent stages, lyrically challenging herself to gain a stronger voice, tone, and flow. In 2001, while still attending high school, she decided to transfer across country to the East Coast to upstate Albany, New York.

In 2002, Whitni started an all-girl group called Illusionz, which consisted of 4 other high school girls. They were given the honor to sing for the Mayor of Albany, Mayor Jerry Jennings. In 2007, she decided to go by the stage name LyriQal Marie. Over time LyriQal has proven that her different sultry sounds and exceptional powerhouse ballads in the big world of Indie R&B can command any crowd, on any stage for their attention. She has opened up for acts such as: 50 cent, Lloyd banks, Missy Elliot, Mike Epps, Boyz to Men, Nina Sky, Jazmine Sullivan, Young Berg, and many more. LyriQal's first album “Long Story Short” made its debut in 2007. Since then, she has released a mixtape in 2014 titled “LyriQal takes New York” with “Jokes On You” becoming a well-known, highly spoken about single.

Her new single “Dope Love” is currently available on iTunes, marking it one of her greatest works of art to date. LyriQal is currently working on her latest project titled “1986” which is due to be released this fall. She looks forward to bringing the late 80s, to early 90s R&B era back to life for your listening pleasures. She has currently relocated to Atlanta, Ga to take her passion of singing to another level, while inspiring the younger generation to never give up on their dreams, goals, and aspirations.
