Biography

Once upon a time in a crazy place called NYC, well....you know the rest. Just kidding. Here it is!

LYNDA MCLAUGHLIN is a seasoned musician who has worked in everything from theatre to pop-rock bands. She has been trained in music, but voice came naturally, and that instrument has not been tampered with or modified. Some things are better left in their natural state. She has toured throughout the United States and attended well known music events, such as SXSW and ACL. In an original project with her family, LDM Music, she appeared on NBC's morning show as the musical guest, performing the hit off her first album Just When You Thought, "You Are Mine."

Lynda performed the opening musical act at Sean Hannity's Freedom Concert in 2009 which featured headliners Lee Greenwood, Charlie Daniels, Michael W. Smith and Billy Ray Cyrus.

Now, Lynda is back and working on a new project with her co-writer Valerie Gurka. These songs are sure to reach people, touching on topics from life to love and loss.

VALERIE GURKA is a music producer, songwriter and live music performer. After performing with several cover bands in New York City, Gurka pre-released her retro-style original debut demo album Planet Girl in 2008 which resulted in a full-page feature in the New York Resident and the Hamptons Resident magazines. She officially released the album on iTunes and Amazon.com in 2009. She has also performed with Gordon Gano and The Ryans at The World Cafe in Philadelphia, broadcast on WXPN and NPR Radio.

Be the Question

Written By: LYVA

Verse 1
Can you tell me
What is the answer
You're not sure yet
You better look a little harder

Verse 2
I ain't got time for maybe
I'm sort of a yes or no girl
Some people like the shades of gray
I'm in for black or white

Chorus
Be the question - you'll find the answer
You live the question - You'll get the answer
You be the question - You'll find the answer
You live the question - You'll get the answer

Verse 3
It took some time for me to get life
I wonder if I'm doin’ it right
And life's so short you never know
So take the time to hear the wind blow

Verse 4
It's deep my friend but you can tell me
Is this what you’ve always planned for
Well, you can always make it right
This much I know for sure

Chorus
Be the question - you'll find the answer
You live the question - You'll get the answer
You be the question - You'll find the answer
You live the question - You'll get the answer

I keep on looking, I keep on looking, I keep on looking~~ for the answer
I keep on looking, I keep on looking, I keep on looking~~ for the answer

oooooo--ooooo-hhhhh
oooooo--ooooo-hhhhh
oooooo--ooooo-hhhhh
