Michael Andre Rice Jr. who performs as M.A.R.Z, is an American rapper/singer/and song writer known for his first single "In My Way".

Michael Andre Rice Jr. was born on August 28, 1997 at 8:28AM. He was raised on Chicago's South Side by his mother and father until the age 17 until they moved to the South Suburbs. Michael Rice attended Chicago Bulls College Prep, Chicago Vocational High School and later graduated from Hillcrest High School. Michael Rice completed one year of finance school at South Suburban college.

Michael Rice has always had an ear for music listening and watching his father Michael Rice rap, produce and manage several groups throughout the years. His mother Bakiba Rice who's in the medical field continued to encourage and support Michael with his dream of becoming a well known Artist.

In high school Michael Rice was asked to perform at a dance were he received a great response. It was then that he had decided to move forward with his career. With the passing of his grandmother Peggy Smith his senior year made him work harder towards his goal in the music industry. Michael Rice is determined to be successful and can't wait for the world to know his name.
