Straight out of Mud Ville, Northern California, Mark 4 Death was born on August 13th 1977 in Stockton and was raised between Stockton & San Francisco, Ca. Experiencing a poor rough childhood & the typical fast street life, M4D felt that growing up was hard, cold, & empty. Quoting; he had nothing 2 live for, but everything 2 gain. Eventually he found a way 2 channel his energy through a pen & a pad. He found his passion through a culture called Hip-Hop.His father was a martial arts master, actor & poet. From those three, M4Ds music became his poetry. Inspired by artists like Kool G Rap, Dr. Dre, Wu Tang Clan, Run DMC, James Brown, Killah Priest, even Beethoven, M4D took the next step from writing his thoughts & emotions on paper to expressing theses words through a sword, otherwise known as a microphone.M4D brings his own styles to this society of hip-hop with a thug attitude and a deep intellect. M4D feels that he has a wide versatility in his music and it can relate to anyone. 13 years of marking on walls, spinning, scratching records, break dancing, writing & spitting rhymes, M4D lived every aspect of hip hop. He says he has experienced a lot in his life. "I thank God. I shouldnt even be alive but I am ... and theres a reason." He lived it, now he will tell it. This is his story: MARK MY WORDZ!
