M80 "The MC"

M80 was born Michael Walker and is a native of Saginaw, Michigan.

M80 started off singing first, and then once he lost his voice, he began rapping.

At the age of 20, you'd probably think that he's been on the mic for years and years when really, he's only been emceeing for 3 years.

He got his first start in the early days of 2006, when a lot of mixtapes and non-creative music began to surface his hometown and had been overshadowing the hip hop music industry for a while by then. His brother Bishop was and still is a big influence in his life and on his music. By this time his brother had been emceeing since 1999.

The name M80 came from the military in which they used them for interrogation tactics or explosive matters.

M80's greatest asset to the music industry is his outlook on hip hop. M80 brings energy, charisma, enthusiasm, charm, lyricism, and creativeness to the industry.

M80's strength in music is his versatility in concepts. M80's music is meant for anyone who loves Hip Hop.

"I try to keep it fresh and brand new on the topic issues. But if I can't I'd usually try to make a spin off of what everyone else is talking about in my own way, for example, "SWAG". As far as my weakness in music, I would say that’s my hooks / bridges / choruses. They could be one of the tightest hooks you've ever heard but that’s only after countless days of me struggling to write it (LOL). I've literally sat a the computer for days on end trying to think of a good hook and bridge and that’s only because I don't believe in writing just anything on the pad. Because if it’s not hot....it’s not me. ;) Releasing songs with trashy hooks is just like me throwing garbage all over your front lawn and I don't want to be accused of causing this global warming in hip hop (LOL).
