Bio
Key Parker draws the audience with his piercing vocals, Hendrix like guitar virtuosity. The music, passion & movement makes it feel like it wasn't being performed on a street corner but in a stadium. The remaining musicians come from a variety of different music backgrounds & education. The jazz guitar, funk bass, reggae-funk percussion and a turntablist creates a circus of sound.
Maceoclay was born out of a chance of discovery with musical style ranging from jazz to funk & metal.
The success of the early gigs was a surprise even to the members themselves. Explosive & delicates, with each song the audience was taken farther away. And with each gig the bands performance ability became more refined. Once in the studio it was easy to translate the power & feel of the stage performance into the album.
