Mach Five has left use hungry for new music for awhile now, and they finally decided to appease our appetite with this little piece of ear candy called Sex on a Sunday Sampler. To promote their new album Sex on a Sunday LP coming December 1st, 2009. Once again they managed to break all the rules, for this is not your typical “sampler” full of song snippets, but features seven full unreleased songs. Corey states “We just wanted to give people a preview of what the album is gonna sound like, build the hype back up. But there are actually only two songs from the album on it… Which is ‘On My way’ and ‘Rebecca’.” Personally my favorite track is ‘Microwave ft. Kara Kersey’

Mach 5 is a distinctive duo from the Midwest, A.ware and Wretch Augustus, who combined forces as children a decade ago. Inspired by the 1960’s animated series, Speed Racer, they created a unique sound that allows them express their feelings about pop culture, politics, art, and women. Abstract lyricists who brings a unique sound by laying their thought provoking, backpack raps over spaced-out punk rock instrumentals.
