Bio
Machin (ma-cheen: Spanglish Slang meaning "Supremely Excellent). Is a bilingual, Latin influenced band formed in the high desert of the Inland Empire. Their style, Spanglish Jive, is an eclectic combination of sounds ranging from Ska, reggae, cumbia, gypsy, and dance music. They bring a new original sound to the world that will make you want to dance, jive and jump.
Since the birth of the band in September 2012, Machin' has made a strong presence in the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin. They have played with Ozomatli, Quetzal, Robby Krieger of The Doors, Michael Bolton, and Josh Kelly. They have performed at the Joshua Tree Roots Festival, AMFM Festival, Kraft Nabisco Golf Tournament, The Hue Festival, and are becoming one of the valleys most reputable bands.
Machin promotes unity through the manipulation of sound.
