Bio
Machines is an American instrumental rock band formed in January 2009, in Annandale VA, and composed of guitarist Romanozky (Roman Arriola), drummer Windgard (Jorge Navarrete) and bassist Phoenix (Lula Neira). The members of the band were previously part of a rock/prog/electronic project called Insomnia which splits-out after a successful east coast tour in 2008. Machines has become known for the instrumental skills of its members and its complex compositions. They have been influenced by great musicians such as Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, and also by important rock bands such as Kiss, Motley Crue, Alice Cooper among others. Romanozky's mastery of his shredding guitar, Windgard's excellent time control on the drums and Phoenix's perfect blending between the harmony and rithm on the bass makes Machines an interesting live performance to see.
