Forming from the ashes of 'John Carson & the Granelli Est', John brought together a fresh group of musicians for a new beginning...
Drawing on the influences of bands such as the 'Longpigs' and 'Wilco'; 'Machines for a Day' have been honing their individual skills in venues throughout Europe - playing alongside acts such as 'Richmond Fontaine', 'The Jayhawks', 'Endrick Brothers' and 'Martha Wainwright'.
John, has been constantly working, writing and recording with song-writers including Yorick Cormack ('Endrick Brothers'), & Gordy Goudie ('Echo and The Bunnymen').
With standout tracks like "Thousands & Thousands of Things" & "The Logic", the music of 'Machines For A Day' appeals to indie rock fans and non-indie rock fans alike.
