A secret that Mackalevin always finds time to share, the highly respected recording artist got his name not from a gun, but as a description of his delivery. As if someone knew he would continue to hit the nail right on the head, Mackalevin has undoubtedly lived up to the standard having developed one of the better resumes of any independent artist moving today. The Brooklyn born product has recently announced his appearance on the forthcoming Joe Budden All Love Lost tour slated to kick off October 30, 2015 in Harrisburg, PA

Coming off of making his rounds at the recent BET Hip Hop Awards, Mackalevin will be making his debut November 11th at the Blue Moose in Iowa City, Iowa bringing his smash single, Show Me Around to a market that has been very supportive of his efforts over the years. Alongside his BeeKay Entertainment team, Mackalevin plans to leave an impact on his core fans as well as develop new supporters as the push for a major 2016 is in full swing. With plans to follow up Show Me Around with his spectacular Nightmares single, Mackalevin is primed to take his place in the conversation of breakout stars. With records in rotation on New York City's Power 105FM as well as Music Choice, no one would be able to say there is a ceiling for this phenomenal emcee.

Asked what inspires him, Mackalevin says “I’m inspired by everything….my family, the situations I face, the people in my neighborhood, those who didn’t make it, and those who are successful”. Mackalevin is thankful for his Hip Hop group, Fric Frac, which motivated him to develop and expand his lyrical dexterity. They offered different insights and encouraged his creativity. He also draws inspiration from artists such as Eminem, Lupe Fiasco, Jay-Z, Fabolous, and Andre 3000 who show no boundaries. And while he has nothing but respect for the trailblazers of hip hop who have inspired him, he wishes to reach new heights they haven't achieved.

With the 2014 release of  Million Dollar Mack, Mackalevin is more than ready to earn his place among music’s greats. The album embodies who he is – versatile. Mackalevin has a range of songs to draw out every raw emotion, each with its own message. He is able to mirror the ebbs and flows of life in his music from being in the hood to changing the world. “It’s just a reflection of life, life encompasses every situation and emotion, so I just portray every angle of it.” The elastic trait of his music makes it accessible to anyone who simply feels.
