"Conformity" was performed live at the Dance and Music Collaboration at Northwestern University.
It was also performed at the National Flute Association Convention in Nashville, Tennessee in the Opryland Hotel.


Feeling a bit camera shy


New York City-born flutist Mackenzie Danner performs a myriad of concerts a year throughout the the United States. By the age of 16, she performed at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in its Grand Ballroom. She studied with Walfrid Kujala, Donald Peck, and Richard Graef, Chicago Symphony Orchestra flutists. She has since appeared as
soloist with orchestras in Chicago, Decatur, IL and Michigan. She played as soloist with the Classical Symphony Orchestra in the Grand Ballroom of Navy Pier.

Ms. Danner has been heard on WNUR's StreetBeat, Evanston, IL. She has appeared in the United States at the National Flute Association Convention in Nashville, Tennesse as the Headliner Performer.

Earned rave reviews while performing in flute masterclasses with Donald Peck, Bradley Garner, Thomas Robertello, and Marco Granados.

She is a recipient of the Margaret Morris Henderson Music Scholarship from Northwestern University, her Alma Mater. Awarded Outstanding Rating and Earned a Solo Appearance with the Festival of Flutes, Chicago.

She has been a finalist in the following orchestras: the New World Symphony of Miami, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and the Arkansas
Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Danner has performed as principal flutist of the Classical Symphony Orchestra of Chicago and the Lake Shore Symphony Orchestra.
