Bio
Mary Macmaster and Donald Hay are two brilliant Scottish innovators mixing electroharp, atmospheric percussion, organic samples and haunting vocals.
Their music is ancient and modern, dynamic and contemplative.
They have performed throughout Europe and Australia including Woodford Festival, Queensland, Lorient Festival Interceltique, Brittany and Celtic Connections, Scotland.
Current and previous projects include The Poozies, Hidden Orchestra, Transatlantic Sessions, Unusual Suspects, Sileas, Eliza Carthy, Shooglenifty, Kathryn Tickell’s Ensemble Mystical, Grand Union Orchestra and Mystery Juice.
Both collaborated with Sting on his CD ‘If on a Winter’s Night’. Mary performed with him on ‘Later ... with Jools Holland‘ and the Durham Cathedral DVD.
