Bio
Michael A Gregory and Friends, is a high-energy, band, which was originally founded
30 years ago in Los Angeles, CA. They now are becoming very popular
on the Mississippi Coast. Michael and his band play a variety of tunes ranging
from ands 50's Oldies to 80's Rock, Country Rock and some Modern and
Traditional Country. They are real “crowd-pleasers” and it has
been noticed that people enjoy dancing and singing along with the
familiar tunes.
The band is also in the process of recording their 2nd
independent CD which is going to be available in the fall.
They have appeared as opening act for the world famous “Little
Richard” at Graffiti Night in Modesto. They have played numerous
festivals, fairs and have been guests on radio stations and cable TV
shows in California.
The
band consists of Michael A. Gregory on lead vocals, guitar and
harmonica. He writes the band's original material, arranges the
cover music and is the bandleader. He formerly performed with The Box
Tops, The Stony Brook People, backed up The Drifters and many other
popular groups from the East Coast to California and now Port
Angeles. Jason Palnertree is the group's drummer and backing vocalist. He is a seasoned
performer and has appeared all over the Mississipi and Louisiana coast with many bands. Bobby Thrash is the bass player and backing vocalist.
He has appeared with bands all over the Gulf Coast.
