"One of more originals and promising from brazilian metal scene", Rolling Stone Magazine.

The band Madame Saatan was born 10 years ago in the Belém city, a metropolis in the middle of brazilian amazon and so far away from main cities of the Brazil - the megalopolis São Paulo / Rio de Janeiro. But soon they became know in the underground scene, because they have a different heavy metal with a woman singing portuguese lyrics and with rithms from amazon and brazilian culture, this fusion called attention.

To the Rolling Stone Magazine, the band "is one of more originals and promising from brazilian metal scene". Already the Billboard Magazine show them as "a worthy representative of brazilian heavy metal". Too were elected "The best new artist of the year" by MTV's site in 2008. The fact is 5 years ago they moved to São Paulo and got more media coverage and a lot of shows around the country.

The new album was released in sept/2011 and stayed in the main lists of "the best of the year". The album "Peixe Homem" (Doutromundo Discos) is the second release of the band and has a international care. The music producer was Paulo Anhaia (winner of 2 Latin Grammy) and was mastered by Alan Douches (Misfts, Aerosmith, Mastodon) in the USA. The first single, of music RESPIRA, has the music video made by duo P.R. Brown (Director) and Jaron Presant (Photography), the both did the 4 last music video of Slipknot and worked with Foo Fighters, Marilyn Manson, Audioslave, Evanescence, Smashing Pumpkins, John Mayer, Alicia Keys and a lot of others. Madame Saatan is Sammliz (vocal), Ed Guerreiro (guitar and backing vocal), Ícaro Suzuki (bass) and Ivan Vanzar (drum).
