Bio

Mad Bomber Society formed in Edmonton in 1997 and began touring Western Canada extensively. 2001 saw the release of the debut album, "Atomic A-Go-Go". Throughout 2002 and 2003, Mad Bomber Society performed across Canada's western provinces and territories and developed a strong following that led to headlining performances at festivals including the Dawson City Music Festival, Yellowknife's Folk on the Rocks, the South Country Fair, the Salmon Arm Roots 'n' Blues Fest and twice headlining Alberta's North Country Fair. The band became a crowd favourite at all-ages gigs, clubs, live music venues, and college and university events across Canada. Mad Bomber Society toured nationally in the summer of 2002 and the fall of 2003, playing from Halifax to Victoria, then continued played Western Canada extensively.

The band took a break in the late-2000's for family, zen and life, regrouping in 2011 for Whitehorse's Sunstroke Festival. The sophomore album Butchers, Stompers & Cheat was released in early-2012 as Mad Bomber Society returned to the stage with all of their renowned energy, soul and fire!

2012 was a busy year for Mad Bomber Society: once again headlining Alberta's North Country Fair; taking part in the Victoria Ska Festival and Alberta Culture's 104th Street Promenade Festival; being Sonic FM's Band of the Month in March; selling out Edmonton's Pawn Shop club four times with their album release show, Sonic Band of the Month show, Discography show, and a massive New Year's Eve show that capped off a great year.
