"The Madd Assassinz"

Born and bred in South Florida’s Treasure Coast, the Madd Assassinz are gaining national recognition after recently winning the statewide Bodog Music Battle of the Bands competition. The two artists, Isaac C. McFadden a.k.a Tru Mec and Richard E. Cooper a.k.a DVus1, are adding fresh air, grooves and sounds to more than just their local scene. The Madd Assassinz recently released Long Overdue, their new explosive album.

Tru Mec is a native of Hobe Sound, and has been rapping professionally for over ten years. Coming from a family with roots in gospel, soul, and R&B, he is prepared to put a mark in hip-hop history with his smooth raps and funky rhythms. Tru Mec’s partner in crime, DVus1 is also a native of Miami. This talent has been spinning records since the young age of eight. DVus1 then started free-styling and eventually crafting his own lyrics for both house parties and street jams. Both entertainers have been inspired by life, kids, and their endless love for music. The Madd Assassinz have done acts for Pete Pablo in Cocoa Beach, Mic Battles in Stuart’s Club Silks, as well as radio commercials on WJFP 91.1 in Fort Pierce. The talented duo looks ahead to a bright future in the spotlight.

The fellas will also appear at the Bayfront Park Concert in Miami on January 27th in order to kick start the enormous Super Bowl festivities. Looking to fill dance clubs and leave CD racks empty, Tru Mec and DVus1 bring intellectual street lyrics and innovative beats to each of the Madd Assassinz’s performances.

Biography Of
The Madd Assassinz

Blasting their way out of South Florida’s Treasure Coast with explosive content and punch lines, is no other than
Madd Assassinz. Isaac McFadden A.K.A. Tru Mec or Phantom and Richard Cooper A.K.A. Blacky McAshy or DVUS1 are a breath of fresh air to what is known today as southern hip hop.

Tru Mec also referred to as Phantom, is a native of Hobe Sound, FL and has been rapping for almost 10 years.
Coming from a family with roots from gospel to old soul R&B, he set out to make his music career a serious one

Blacky McAshy, also referred to as DVUS1, is a native of Miami, FL and got his start by DJing from the age of 8. As free styling became more fluent to him he eventually started writing rhymes. Dissatisfied with the Miami life, he
relocated to Stuart, FL and started his journey to music stardom.

As fate would have it Blacky McAshy & Tru Mec would be destined to meet in a Spec’s Music store. They would later become what we now know as Madd Assassinz. Releasing their first independent CD “Long Overdue” on Crazybaby Records. The two started their journey with producer/engineer Adrian “Madd Scientizt” Robinson.

As Long Overdue became a street favorite they entered into a management agreement with 2Big Productions of Miami, FL. Whom later kept them busy doing performances all over Miami, FL including Bo Dog Music’s Battle of the Bands (Due to air on Fuse T.V.), Being the only Hip-Hop act to survive and making it to the finals.

Opening for acts like Petey Pablo and Mr. Cheeks their stage presence demands the crowd’s attention.
They will leave you with your heart throbbing and wanting more.

With the anticipation of their Mixtape, due summer 2008, hosted by DJ EFN, Miami’s Mix Tape King.
Madd Assassinz. plan to have the clubs filled and the CD racks empty.
