Madd Family formed in 1996 in the province of Mombasa in Kenya. E..Floyd and Mchizy CD, bot
residents of Kenya and Switzerland, combine in their music Kenyan melodies with Dancehall an
rhythms, elements of Hip-hop, RnB and many other styles of the urban music scene. Urban/Dan
one might call their music, open minded with a refreshing simplicity. Madd Prophecy is a must.

Madd Prophecy is the name of the just released brand-new debut album of Madd Family from Kenya.
Already stars in their homeland, E..Floyd and Mchizy CD had difficulties finding a record label in Europe
However, they were lucky. In Earthbeat Records™ in Switzerland they found a competent partner. With
the label’s producer Swamijee they present a colourful mix of Dancehall and Soca rhythms combined w
elements of Hip-hop and RnB spices. 20 songs: «Urban Music» which never neglects its African roots
Madd Family not only proves its vast spectrum of styles in their lyrics in four different languages – they
in English, Swahili, Giriama and Patwa – but also with their list of coproducers and special guest music
who perform on this album (Namusoke, DJ Illvibe, Bogdan Ioan and Gee-K).
