Maddison Avenue is a country, soul, and rock 'n roll outfit made up of seasoned professional musicians, based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Lead by singer/songwriter, Keith Maddison, the band got their first break at JunoFest 2006 at a featured showcase. Their sound has been compared to Bob Seger, Van Morrison and even the Rolling Stones. Although the band is relatively new the members of this band, playing guitars (electric; accoustic), keyboards, bass, drums and horns, all have an immense background in music performing in local bars, concert halls, festivals, etc. Few other collectives match the versatility, cohesion and musicianship of the band.
Hitting the studio in January 2007 for their first full-length record, keep an eye on Maddison Avenue as they take on the world in the new year.
