No institution could have taught me more insights into life, more in depth human psychology than the actual life experience I gained growing up alone through trial and error right here in NYC. The streets of Brooklyn gave me my strength and character, Harlem my fearlessness and determination and Manhattan my culture and sophistication.”

Madeleine Twyman dropped by the studio when she was back in Toronto. Now living in New York, Madelaine’s unconventional outlook and experiences deliver her captivating blend of singing, rapping and dancing with a rebellious and empowering in your face live show which came through in our recent photo shoot. I absolutely love this girl. We had such an amazing time filled with lots of laughs, hugs and a few tears of happiness. Normally I would worry if my subject started crying in the middle of a shoot but I was put at ease when Madeleine followed the tears by saying "you captured my very essence, my soul, I love it...". There's nothing more rewarding than making my subject comfortable, confident and happy with their images. I can't wait to work with Madeleine again sometime. She was incredible.

Madeleine is commited to giving a real show to her public but she also uses her voice to empower women in a society pushing women to the edge with superficiality. She speaks up about issues that a lot of artists choose not to, because after all, you can be a fun entertainer and have a strong and positive message. Madeleine is a militant for authenticity, and she applies her belief of tolerance and positivity to the team every single day. Working with her is a pleasure, she allows me to express my creativity in the design and the styling for the shows, she is open to everything as long as it stays faithful to her conviction and represents her perfectly. I have to say that it’s not difficult to come up with ideas for the shows with such an inspiring team. Madeleine, the PopBellaHall dancers and me now form a big familly where everybody is supportive and dedicated to entertaining people in a refreshing and positive way. I - La Fille du LES
Madeline was there and excited the audience as she performed her hit Single "Body Parts" along with her dancers Samantha Watts and Sarah Rodak. The two are also know as the popbellahall dancers. The event also paid tribute to pioneers in the business such as Brand Nubian. Keith Murray was also on hand and took a moment to mingle with guess and the press. HotStepz' own Clubmaster Steele and MDot got into a photo with Keith Murray and T.H.C Production's Trife Boss. The Bronx seemed to be holding it down at the UMA's. ClubMaster Steele, Trife Boss, DJ NOE and Fred The Godson share something in common, we all come straight out the Bronx as well as Hip Hop artist Mr Gat who was nominated for original artist. Another artist coming straight out of the Bronx is hip hop artist Ounp who won the award for Best Punch Line. Ounp current single is entitled "What Chu Talkin Bout" featuring Lloyd Banks, Jadakiss and Fred The Godson. - HotStepz Magazine
