Females in this industry are a dime a dozen. Having a presence is important and Madeleine Twyman definitely has it. Utilizing her skill in music and dance, she is making noise all over New York City. Madeleine and her PopBellaHall Divas fuse Hip-Hop, Dancehall, ballet, modern jazz and beauty to get their message across. With lyrics equipped with messages that people need to hear, Madeleine takes her performance to new heights. With professional dance training at Alvin Ailey, a love for spoken word and great musical influences, Madeleine created a dope way to showcase her talents. Her single “Body Parts” is geared towards telling women about being beautiful from the inside first. She talks about her feelings on plastic surgery and the societal pressures to be artificially “beautiful”.

Madeleine is the new definition of female authenticity. The mysterious and inspired songwriter laid her roots in NYC to study dance at the prestigious Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. Madeleines love of poetry and words helped find her voice at a poetry café in the lower east side where she was soon after recording in Brooklyn under the mentorship of reggae musician Donny Marshall and later in Manhattan, with Sidney Mills of Grammy winning band Steel Pulse.
Madeleines unconventional outlook and experiences deliver her captivating blend of singing, rapping and dancing with a rebellious and empowering in your face live show. Her compelling performances throughout Manhattan are a costume clad visual collaboration featuring a troupe of ballerinas, dancehall queens and Pop dancers aptly named The PopBellaHall Divas.
Invested in nurturing her talent to its highest potential, Madeleine embraces challenge for the reward of experience in her effort to convey herself through her artistry.
Recently being nominated for an Underground music award, in addition to her regular booked gigs throughout the lower east side's hottest music venues where she has an established and fast growing fan base for her live band shows.Venues Madeleine has performed at include: Webster Hall, Sullivan Hall, The Delancey, The Alphabet Lounge, Times Square Arts Center, Public Assembly to name a few.
With her new single Body Parts, Madeleine expresses her view on the influx of plastic surgery in todays society through a message that accredits and encourages women to cultivate their beauty from the inside out.
