Born Damien Lucero, He Created his alias (Madien) by swapping his D initial with the M Initial in his real name.
Writing music and poetry began very early in Maiden’s childhood, In fact, writing songs came very naturally to Madien. As a youth madien would study every record he could get his hands on. He studied the rhythm of the instruments, the vocal delivery of the artist, was a clap used, was a snare used, what is the tempo of the Record. In the late 90’s maiden’s only form of getting new beats was to record 10 to 20 seconds of an outro or intro from the radio to a tape. Madien is a true fan of Hip Hop, yet no one or two main stream artists had influenced Madien to become a Rapper. The True inspiration for Madien was his older brother, Andrew (MT) Lucero. Mt gave Madien the drive and determination to become a better Artist. Nightly Mt would ask madien to read multiple pages of a thesaurus, and on occasion had Madien write pages of bars each night. Money was very tight, at 18 Mt Worked enough hours through a Christmas season to buy Madien his first studio setup. This setup included a mixer, microphone, cords, headphones, and software to record vocals. At 16 Madien Began to slowly learn Engineering , Mixing, Mastering, BankzZzilliest is credited for helping madien develop the engineering skills today. Working hard and actively pursuing his MC Career. The same year Madien was added to a local group titled Swift Click. Swift Click rapidly gained tones of popularity as a young duo rap group. In their first year Swift Click performed over 35 shows Throughout Albuquerque NM, and the surrounding area. Studio sessions ranged on average, 3 to 4 hour days, 5 days a week. Through all the music recorded and venues attended, Swift Click found there first introduction to the main stream industry. At 17 Madien was invited to L.A. to visit Studio Atlantis.

With no hesitation Madien Booked his round trip flight to LAX. While entering the Atlantis studios Madien was introduced to Pauly Paul, Co-Creator of tones of hits for Christina Milian’s (Dip It Low), and Chingy. ( Just To name a few). Upon leaving L.A. Madien was offered a Management/Production Deal with M.H.C Entertainment. In this same year Madien signed to Street Tactic Records and began working on Swift Clicks first major releases, The Truth Mix tape, and the self-titled Swift Click Album. Two months down, the Truth Mix tape was released. In Albuquerque the mix tape was a hit moving well over 600 copies. For a 17 year old student, that was more than a ton of money, however in the mist of the growth in popularity and funds, Swift Click Disbanded in 2006.
Later that Year Madien began working on his first solo project, titled Armageddon. This project allowed madien to explore new techniques, styles, and really be able to come into his own as an artist. At 18 Madien really began to focus on the production side of records. These new found skills allowed madien to catapult into a higher realm of the music industry. Developing his production skills was the next test for Madien. Madien’s view on production is, it’s easy to make a record, It Takes Time to make a Hit. With This new found ability Madien began working on His debut solo album Titled One Deep. Madien produced over 80% of the album, and assisted in mixing and mastering the Album.

To fast forward Madien is NOT just an M.C. He now produces records, and is a very accomplished song writer. He has Produced/ Sent Records to some of the biggest names in the game today. These names include B.O.B’ Management, Ray J’s Management, Young Noble of The Outlaws, Brutha Lynch Hung’s Management, and DTTX of Lighter Shade Of Brown. In addition, Madien was brought on to assist Skylar Mones Entertainment 4’s newest producer, and help write records for some of the biggest names in the industry today.
To This Day Madien Strives to create not just Music, But the future of music.
