Bio

Keith Varon was enjoying the success of having ten of his songs placed on shows such as "Laguna Beach" (MTV), "The Hills" (MTV), "Next" (MTV), "What About Brian" (ABC), and "Paradise City" (E!) as well as a prevailing tour; however, Keith felt as if something had been missing from his career as a solo artist. Though his songwriting and lyrics were proving to be successful within the mainstream culture, he believed that his music would be represented best by the power and energy of a full band, and so he set out to discover a group of artists with a similar passion and drive for music.

Madison Parkway was formed in San Francisco after Keith was introduced to MJ Gonzales, former drummer of the Bay area band Hope Kills, through their management, MusicISP. Keith and MJ quickly discovered that they had multiple influences in common including U2, Jimmy Eat World, John Mayer, and The Goo Goo Dolls. They both aspire to discover a unique sound within the rock genre that they suspect has been absent for years. That sound is one of genuine honesty that can and will influence an extremely diverse audience.

Chris Carrington, former guitarist for Bay area band Maxwell Adams, joined forces with the duo shortly after their union. With influences ranging from Circa Survive to Splendor, Chris has developed a versatile style with tasteful riffs that shaped the rock edge Madison Parkway was searching for.

Shortly after their union with Chris, Keith and MJ approached Will Doll, MJ's former band mate and guitarist for Hope Kills, and offered him the position of bassist and backup vocals within their musical endeavor.

According to Keith, "Being out on the road by yourself is difficult. I really felt like I wanted some camaraderie in going out there again. I also have always been envious of that connection I see bands like U2 sharing on stage where everyone in the audience can feel that brotherhood that has been built for years out of touring and being one."

The superior expertise that all four members provide combined with Keith, MJ and Will?s writing skills produces a life and energy to Keith?s songs that had never been present within his solo career. The harmonious bond between Madison Parkway's members creates a compelling and unique form of music that will certainly communicate with a diverse and devoted audience.
