Big Bear Lake, CA, May 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- It’s finally summertime in Big Bear Lake. Along with all the great outdoor activities available in Big Bear like hiking, fishing, boating, car rallies, marathons and more; Big Bear Lake’s own Mad Mad Marcae & his Lost Roll of Pennies Blues Band is bringing back Sunset Dinner Blues Cruises to add to your summer vacation agendas. Mad Mad Marcae has teamed up with B’s Backyard Barbecue and Boathouse and Pine Knot Landing’s “The Miss Liberty” to bring a series of five Blues Cruises to Big Bear Lake this summer. Sunset cruises are scheduled for June 7th, July 19th, August 9th and September 6th will have two cruises, an afternoon as well as a sunset cruise.
“Mad Mad’s Miss Liberty Blues Cruise” is aboard Pine Knot Landing's “The Miss Liberty”, a gorgeous 64 foot long, 24 foot 6 inch high Skipperliner 1500 LX; completely refurbished in 2006. She features a fully shaded upper deck as well as an enclosed heated main salon with picturesque views of Big Bear’s incredible lake and mountains.
Depart from the private dock at B's Backyard Barbecue and Boathouse for this two hour Sunset Dinner cruise featuring music from Mad Mad Marcae and his Lost Roll of Pennies Blues Band. A mixture of blues, funk and soul will have you dancing the night away as you take in a sunset only Big Bear Lake could provide. B’s Backyard Barbecue will take you to the islands with a dinner feast including fresh Island Fruit Salad, Shrimp Cocktail, Spam Sushi (a Hawaiian tradition), Polynesian Cole Slaw, Hawaiian Chicken, Jamaican Rice, Polynesian Short Ribs and Pineapple Cobbler for dessert.

A Native of Tacoma Washington and currently residing in Laguna Beach California, Marcae has been performing and singing since his childhood, where he began his career as a member of his family singing group. Once Marcae began performing, he could not stop. He has remained a constant and consistent performer throughout his life. Given the name "Mad Mad" by a band mate, Marcae continues to create what he has coined as Southern California Mad Bluz". Although it can be argued that Marcae sings the Blues well, but is not from the south, you can be assured that he has endured the times often reflective of the Blues, both in life and in music as are his vocal stylings.
Mad Mad Marcae's evolution in to the phenomenal Blues artist occurred over time as an artist and in life. Performing Gospel and traditional religious hymns as well as Oldies, Rock-n-Roll, Jazz, Musical Theater, Soul and then finally Blues which has been his main focus for the last 20 years.
Mad Mad Marcae is currently working on his new Album which promises to be a hybrid of Blues, Rock and soul that will cross all genre and will be considered a continuation of southern California "Mad Bluz" Be looking for new hits from Mad Mad Marcae in 2013.
