Local rock band Mad September is getting its big break on reality TV and they didn't even have to dance with a star, lose weight or move in with seven strangers and start getting real in order to do it. The Fort Collins group recently licensed the use of five of its songs from its debut CD "She's A Sin" to California television production companies...for potential use on various...shows, including MTV's "The Real World,""Road Rules,"...as well as E! Entertainment's "Keeping up with the Kardashians... - Fort Collins Coloradoan

Bio
Formed in September 2007, Mad September melds the raw components of unapologetically hard, straight-up rock and pop melodies. The band draws its influences from the entire rock cannon, ranging from the arena-ready anthemns of Kiss and Queen to the eerie tones of The Smashing Pumpkins. Lyrically the band explores the seedy underbelly of human existence memorialized in newspaper bylines and the recesses of the mind. The band's name reflects those interests - mental instability and the Dante-esque antechamber between the vibrant life of summer and the dreary decay of fall. It's a name born of the band members' life experiences, and appropriately identifies a group of musicians whose music reflects that experience.
