Biography

By the age of sixteen, she played Jenny in the "Three penny Opera" at the National Youth Theater in London followed shortly after by performing as a solo singer and trumpet player at the International Red Sea Jazz Festival. In the Prague State Opera she starred in “The Picture of Dorian Gray”, an impressive musical theatre/rock production. She played the role of Sybil and got the attention of European producers and International audiences.

She continued her studies at the Manhattan School of Music and studied both contemporary and classical music. She studied acting at the The Tisch School of the Arts at N.Y.U. and the William Esper Studio for professional acting. She has received many awards such as an honor placement on the Dean’s list at the Manhattan school of music, and an award as “extraordinary artist” from the Buchman-Heyman foundation.

Since then, she has traveled the world on the concert circuit. Country leaders and audiences have enjoyed hearing her pure and silky voice in venues such as the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Town Hall, and many more. Magda is currently working with the renowned producer/songwriter Steve Addabbo (Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin) on her debut album.
