Bio
Thousands of audiences around the world have been entertained with Magic Brians outrageous and unique comedy-magic and sideshow act. He began performing with a partner as the comedy magic duo
of Abra and Cadabra. Since then he branched out with his solo show and has performed in 16 countries, worked the sideshow stage of New Yorks famous Coney Island Sideshow, and appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman. He has appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe and Adelaide Fringe festivals, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Street Performers World Championships as well as festivals throughout Canada and Europe.
Magic Brian was presented with the Sideshow Preservation Award at the annual Sideshow Gathering in 2005, he won the Peoples Choice award for Best Performer in Canada in 2006, and for Best Act in Germany in 2011.
Performing street, stage and close-up magic, his original and eclectic repertoire ranges from the miraculous production of an impossible amount of sponge bunnies out of thin air to an unbelievable escape from a straitjacket and chains. He makes objects disappear and re- appear in strange and unusual places, and you can also find him swallowing razor blades, eating light bulbs and hammering nails into his head. And yes, this is what he does for a living!
Magic Brian incorporates the old with the new using inspiration from circus sideshow acts as well as classic magic effects, then adding his own unique and humorous twist to it all. His goal: to make people
laugh and smile, and maybe even soil themselves.
