Magic Mama Latte

Magic Mama Latte is a smokin' hot blues band out of Ohio. Over the last year, they've been competing in the International Blues Competitions(IBC) in the Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania regions. Runners-up in The Big Bend Blues Bash IBC Qualifier in Pomeroy,Oh they were awarded a cash prize and studio time. Earlier in 2009, they were named finalists in Ohio's oldest and largest blues competition, The River City Blues Competition in Marietta, Ohio. Blues acts from across the nation came for a chance to win their way to Memphis, Tennessee and play for the IBC crown. After winning their way to the finals, The Marietta Times is quoted as saying Magic Mama Latte "took center stage" for the large and enthusiastic crowd. Any Magic Mama Latte show includes soaring vocals and rippin' guitar leads backed by a "Memphis Ready" rhythm section. Taking elements from Blues, Jazz, R&B, Soul, Funk, Swing and even a little Latin, Magic Mama Latte has just finished recording their first album and is already working on the follow-up project. Whether it's an intimate club or a large festival, Magic Mama Latte is brewin' up the blues and serving it hot!
