Bio
It all started at age seven as a childhood fantasy. Curtis always wanted to believe in magic, and one day his father made a coin disappear from his hand and pulled it from behind Curtis' ear. This was the catalyst for Curtis' career in magic. He started performing for family gatherings and local festivals and corporations. Now a master of his art, he has made CEOs of major corporations disappear, such as Bank One and other Fortune 500 companies. Now performing all around the world for adults and children, Curtis has created a character that is likeable, with an enjoyable superstar image that continuously gains attention and makes news headlines worldwide.
At the age of 19, Curtis became enthralled with escapes when he came across a pair of shackles and learned quickly how to free himself from them. He appeared on a local news station in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio and escaped from the shackles in 10 seconds flat. Feeling the drive to master the art of escape and his fear of drowning, Curtis took his magic to a new level. More daring stunts soon followed, such as being lifted 50 feet in the air above buildings, chained to two steel plates and then submerged into oceans and rivers. His greatest spectacle to date is the Cube of Death, a dangerous stunt that lead to the demise of the great Harry Houdini in 1926. Major corporations and events have contracted with Curtis to perform these daring stunts worldwide in Singapore, China and the Philippines to attract attention and visitors to their venues.
If this was not enough to entice your senses, watch for Curtis as he conquers Hollywood in a big way. He has guest-starred in various television programs and performed at grand events. Curtis can also be seen cutting and dicing the worlds most famous heiress, Paris Hilton in her television reality show, The Simple Life. He has just released his first instructional magic DVD, Poof! You are a Magician! in 2006.
As always, you will see Curtis appearing at local charity events and teaching magic in schools for Star Education to help his community and to keep the ancient art of magic alive.
