Lyrics

Monument

Written By: Magnoliablack

Well they breed the best to build the castle
and leave the rest to suffer their humanity,
the writings of which you'll never see.

So take the test, it's all so simple now,
it's been dumbed down, to prevent failure
and ensure that there's fodder its... made up of you

All dressed to impress, plastic promises
glitter in the dawning of a realized day...
to mark how much the culling is due

The paradigm starts to shift.
A revolution will begin.
I can feel the ages turning,
they're burning on the wind.
Ground debris of squandered youth
separates us from the truth

It's never felt so good to be a monument.
(Still just another face inside the crowd, crying loud to be let out)

So we gave away our lives and fate
to the winds of change that promised our
protection in this...
As we go on just wasting our lives

In too deep theres no way out this time,
the center line's all but forgotten
it seems we need a shot in arm
The hours due!

This paradigm starts to shift.
A revolution must begin.
I can feel the ages turning,
They're burning on the wind.
Ground debris of squandered youth
separates us from the truth.

It's never felt so good, to be a monument.

Maybe you should think about the family ties and party lines, making your decisions for you... influences you never knew.

Think about your whole entire life, brought to the size of a sequence. A sequence meant to seal us and to mark us due.

The paradigm starts to shift.
Our revolution must begin.
I can feel the ages burning now
And we're turning on the wind.
Ground debris of squandered youth
separates us from our truth

It's never felt so good to be a monument.

And now, I think I've lost my chance to be anonymous.

Dreams Cut

Written By: Magnoliablack

Now I'm Helpless
lying here behind these hands
I just can't stand
to face the awful truth

You're adorning this warning look
that says all my opinions...
Mean next to nothing to you.

But when you wake up
is when you will know
this whole argument has passed us by

Because its not yours
to put me back to sleep
like mother marionette,
to my father sympathy.
But i think you will find,
that given due time
we all must divide
or suffer cell suicide.

I'm listless feeling emotion as though dead
it's got me renting space inside of my own head.
And I'm needing a feeding tube
to keep mental division
from all but consuming you.

And when we wake up
is when you will know
that instead of fight i'd rather go

Because its not yours
to put me back to sleep
like mother marionette,
to my father sympathy.
But i think you will find,
that given due time
we all must divide
or suffer cell suicide.

Now you've got me lifted to my head
like the Hutchinson's Effect.
It's got me seeing read in everything you said

Now sideways bent.
We're both spinning end on end
I come forward once again
to find just what you meant.
It's when I woke up.
that's when I did find
are that you were was just a lie
You were a lie. And you never even tried...
To say

Its not yours to put me back to sleep
like mother marionette,
to my father sympathy.
But i think you will find,
that given due time
we all must divide
or suffer cell suicide.

We'll suffer cell suicide... not again this time
We all must divide, or suffer cell suicide.
