Magoh

Being the underdog and showing how proud we are of it. This is the main message that is offered by Magoh through our music. Magoh is the name of a lion from a very old book that proves over and over again that being true to yourself will, in some way or another, make you rise to the top.

Each of the four members of Magoh has experienced devastating family experiences and playing music together is therapeutic for us. When fans understand that there is so much more to life than what they are currently going through, we feel completely satisfied.

We have a wide range of influences, due to the likings of each band member.

Richard, Magoh founder and lead vocals, is a very talented, physically animated musician who is the "orchestra leader". After you see him move on stage and sing at the same time, you will be scratching your head. His influences are based off of a very melodic/acoustic sounding rock.

Jorel, guitarist and youngest member of Magoh, is what we call our "prodigy". He is a man-child on the guitar and creates some of the most creative hooks that you'll ever hear. His influences come from a very modern sounding rock.

Ryan, bassist and oldest member of Magoh, is a typical Californian... if he were anymore laid back, he would be in a coma. A former drummer turned into a bassist, strong blues and "anything that is old" is how he is influenced.

Bryan, drummer of Magoh, is one of the best drummers to watch live. All you see behind his kit is hair and sticks. He has been described as Animal, from the Muppets. He has been in numerous bands throughout his youth and his influences come from the metal side of rock.

With all of our musical influences, Magoh is a very interesting band that is hard to ignore.
