Bio
Maile Lani is a 24 year old composer/singer/songwriter who would rather make pieces of ideas and static images flow, than write songs about complete thoughts. She studied music composition in Australia and Canada, although she hardly read sheet music. She has been compared to Tori Amos and Cat Power, among others, and recently finished recording her first short film score that she wrote for banjo and melodica. She is currently working on her first ep which is due out end of Summer 2009.
