Main South is an irreverent blend of rock, blues and alt-country.
The group is a collaborative effort between singer-songwriter John Brazile and an alternating lineup of musicians who come from Nashville and New England. John named the group both for the neighborhood in Worcester, MA where he grew up and also in reference to the southern-rock leanings of the band.
Their influences include Ryan Adams, Ray LaMontagne, John Mayer Trio, U2, The Wallflowers, The Band, Credence Clearwater Revival and Ryan Bingham, among others.
Main South is currently booking tour dates in support of their first single, “Rain Like Hell.”
