Bio

As with most good things that come about in the world it was an unplanned event. Maison D'ame was formed when the musical minds of Dave Miller and Kelly Hayden met at a small pub in Melbourne back in late 2008.

Kelly had been signing in funk and soul bands around Melbourne, and working in the studio on various compilation's doing backing vocals, whilst Dave had already been releasing a steady stream of Deep/Funky Soulful house music on the international scene on various labels in the USA/Europe/Asia and the UK.

The two immediately found they shared the same musical interests and passion, and went on to start work on their first compositions titled "Give Love" and "Take What You Want". These tracks were quickly picked up by San Francisco based label "Motion Music" and were released under the name of "Dave Miller feat Kelly Hadyen" initially, to help introduce the duo to the scene with Dave's already established profile in underground house music scene.

The duo hit the right note again and managed to lay down another track titled "Im Affected" which was instantly picked up by a new Australian based label called "Illegal Cargo Records" and was shot forward to be the labels first release. Due to come out in September 2009.

From the interest gained by international DJ's such as The Lawnchair Generals, Fred Everything, Mark Farina and other high profile DJ's, Dave and Kelly decided it was time to bring forward their moniker of "Maison D'ame" and present that to the world with a live performance by the duo at the Illegal Cargo Records Launch party in Perth at the beginning of August.
Dave states .." It was such a privilege to perform these tracks live to such an appreciative crowd".

The duo quickly realised they had something good to offer and went to work straight away on writing new tracks and putting together the live show that is "Maison D'ame".
