Majlo

Majlo is a folk-pop duo consisting of two of the most prominsing and charismatic crossover artists in the Swedish folkmusic scene of today.

Maja Långbacka(also member of Punsch), is called one of the new generations' top folk singers, and known for her personal expression and her free approach to the genre.
Samuel Andersson (also known as a member of Hedningarna, Punsch and Boot) is a brilliant multi-instrumentalist who comfortably uses livelooping as a way to create a whole and distinctive sound.

In Majlo, Maja and Samuel create a unique musical experiense for the audience.

Playing with contrasts such as acoustic instrumentation and live electronic machines, Majlos' music is intimate and grand at the same time.

Majlos' debut album is being released in the autumn of 2011 through Folkpop records / Universal.
