Biography

Know as "Major", Daquan J. Major is from Charleston, SC and came to know Jesus as his personal Savior November 3, 1999. With an unction to do more for the Kingdom, Major stepped out into the ministry in 2004 under Lonnie Palmer, pastor of Christian Praise and Worship Center. Feeling a different vibe other than the traditional praise and worship music , Major started expressing His passion for Christ through rap lyrics. He heavily emphasizes the Geechie/Gullah vernacular unique to Charleston to bring an exciting but distinctly different spin on rap music period. His musical upbringing includes singing in youth choirs and playing various instruments in the percussion section of his high school concert band. Major's focus in his musical presentation is to interject the Word of God into mainstream and underground rap communities. He creates spiritually aggressive music to combat a spiritually aggressive adversary by actually taking the Holy Scriptures and placing them in rhyme form.

"All We Push"

Chorus/Hook-Part 1: All we push is Gospel
All we push is Gospel
All we push is Gospel
Eat it, eat it up! (3x)
Chorus/Hook-Part 2: All we push is Gospel
All we push is Gospel
The Gospel is the only thing we push so eat it up! (1x)
Verse 1: All we push is Gospel from Genesis to Revelations and we on a come-up in Jesus call it elevation. Man we bout that ministry, not for the compensation for the longest I've been contemplating, how go charge for the Word when it's suppose to be freely disseminated, pass down to the lowest levels. Cause the price ain't right I guess they ain't on your level, you got to get paid and you need it on a regular. The Kingdom of Heaven at hand, Jesus sent out the Twelve; cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leper, drive out demons, freely you've been received freely you ought to give. No gold, no silver, no copper in your purses, no bag for provisions no bag for collections the workman is worthy of his meat, we take that means setup concessions. I know you got bill, dog, here's a suggestion, give it all to God and watch what He do with the rest when....

Chorus/Hook-Part 1: All we push is Gospel
All we push is Gospel
All we push is Gospel
Eat it, eat it up! (3x)
Chorus/Hook-Part 2: All we push is Gospel
All we push is Gospel
The Gospel is the only thing we push so eat it up! (1x)
Verse 2: Where I'm from people choose the Streets, the Church so traditional, we put our Jesus on and take Him (referring to Jesus) off, hang Him (referring to Jesus) up like He's (referring to Jesus) a coat. We better understand the time, discern like Sons of Issachar, we need to mobilize He's (referring to Jesus) the key, crank it up like it's a car. We miss the mark, we packing pews and pumping up these pulpits. Never neglect the assembling of ourselves but that never was the focus. People out cha (slang for here) hungry dog by any means they go eat, whether it's hustling, prostitution, pimping, grand larceny. It's a lost to me, we preach to each other, where's the harvesting? It's plenty of that to go round, I'll tell you what the problem is. We looking for the dollar sign in ministry you gotta (slang for "got to") give. We wanna (slang for "want to") make exchanges like Kingdom life's a corporate deal. We don't appeal, they don't receive. We don't compel, they do rebel. If not for the power of the Spirit (referring to The Holy Spirit) attempts are bound to fail. With gasoline drawers, hand baskets, dog, bound for hell. That's what happens when this Gospel music all about the sales.

Chorus/Hook-Part 1: All we push is Gospel
All we push is Gospel
All we push is Gospel
Eat it, eat it up! (3x)
Chorus/Hook-Part 2: All we push is Gospel
All we push is Gospel
The Gospel is the only thing we push so eat it! (fades out) (1x)
