Described as “the most tremendous talent of our time who brings to tears and makes aghast all who experience her muse�, Maki Hsieh is a classically-trained violinist and a nine language, three-octave vocalist who weaves her way through genres to forge a powerful soundscape. Saturated with raw passion and fierce virtuousity, Maki's fantasy shows, dramatic dancing and exotic glamour have galvanized fans from millenials to red carpet patrons.

After revered classical traditions including San Francisco Opera and prizes in violin and voice, Maki debuted in electronic music with her Skrillex cover which swept number one on the Los Angeles, National, and Global ReverbNation charts for five weeks. Maki has appeared before thousands in attendance at arenas such as StubHub Center, Progressive Field, Las Vegas Motor Speedway for Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) to exclusive audiences including Taiwan's First Lady.

Trained in piano since 4, Maki's collaborative songwriting, violin shredding and pure-tone vocals have made her one of the most in-demand vocalist/violinist recording artist across genres. Maki has lent her artistry to cinema, documentaries, EDM, ambient IDM, heavy metal and on the silver screen where she appeared in the World War II short film "A Song for Manzanar" opening the movie singing the theme song.

A multifaceted creative force, Maki's pursuit for innovation involves unique collaborations integrating LED technology, violin inventions, and other elements that create the most dimensional stage experience. She has been feautured in The UNTZ, EDM Online, Millenial Magazine, Magnetic Magazine, Trap Style, THIS IS EDM, Japan LA Times, Taipei Times, The World Journal, Japan-Taiwan Magazine and others. Highlights for 2015 include her pro show, releasing her highly-anticipated debut album and performing the national anthem for the NFL.

Maki graduated from the Johns Hopkins University while training at Peabody Conservatory with Berl Senofsky. Born mostly deaf, Maki is passionate about the transformative power of creative expression especially on human rights and child welfare. With her vision of artistry as a catalyst to transform, Maki's music strives to transcend boundaries and touch audiences across borders, around the world.
