These days garage bands have a different connotation than the long-haired, loud, obnoxious, still living with their parents, wanna-be, rockers of yesteryears. Making Out With Becky might just be a garage band but listening to their music you are instead calmed by the acoustic tones and hidden lyrics. They're easy to listen to and a band that this writer would recommend to anyone. Their sound isn't going to get them famous, but it damn well should. - The Daily Listener

We've been influnced by bands from both past and present generations. The largest of these influences have been U2 and Blink-182. We're different because we're individuals and our band reflects that. We're not what some manager or company wants us to be... we say what we want to say in the way we want to say it. And that's the way it'll always be.
