Bio
Mala In Se began in the Spring of 2007. Andy Perkins and Joe Thompson had always been in experimental bands like Hilltop Distillery and 24hourflu (to name a few) and were looking for a drummer to try something completely different and untapped. They wanted to mix their unique tunings and obscure guitar/bass playing with a double bass drummer. This is where Keith Leeds came into the picture. Keith had always been in Punk and Metal bands such as Cincinnati local punk heros Restraint and many others. The three together hit it off amazingly and have been playing shows around the KY/OH area since the Summer of 2007. They are currently recording their debut EP which should be released in the Summer of 2008.
