Malaxe

Paying tribute to the band’s name – Malaxe is French for “merge & blend” – the music features different musical styles with dirty trip hop beats, mind wrapping atmospheres, gentle guitar melodies, piercing bass lines and melancholic vocals. The tracks are shaped by mastermind Chris - coming from a singer/songwriter background, writing beautiful songs on his guitar within minutes - and his partner in crime Skiz - an electronic studio nerd, who creates deep atmospheres which brings the music into another dimension. Teamed up with two serious musicians who actually can play real instruments really good, this band will go its way on its search for new zones between pop and something else.

Somebody once said, but the bad would highly deny: picture Nick Cave teaming up with Massive Attack while Radiohead is playing guitars and Tom Waits is mixing the drinks.
