Thinkin' about You

Thinking About You.
©M.McCallum Aug 2004 All Rights Reserved

I see you there in the light of the moon
Follow you down, IÕll follow you home
I been out here just a little too long, in this
Rock ÔnÕ roll danger zone
But when all these things have been said and done
One thing I want you to know, is

IÕve been thinking about you
And IÕm finding the words to say
That I canÕt be without you
Not for one more dayÉ

(2nd&3rd xÕs only) IÕve been thinking about you
And itÕs clear where IÕll find my way
And I canÕt be without you
Not for one more dayÉ

IÕve seen your smile through the eyes of a child
Follow you down, IÕll follow you home
Right there and thenÕs when I realised, I would
Never survive alone
So if there should be some way you could see, I
Hope youÕll be letting me know, Ôcause

(Rpt chorus x 2)
É not a single dayÉ

Call me any old time, a letterÕs just fine, when
Ever you think I should know , Ôcause
Chorus x 2

ThinkinÕ about youÉ.
whenever you see your way clear
could you let me know now...

Hangin' By a Thread

Hangin' By a Thread.

1. The sunÕs last rays burn the buildings
Into gold ethereal spires
Through the cold, steely grey of the afternoon
There's an old man comes in stumblinÕ
Too much whisky in his eyes
HeÕs all weathered & weary, heÕs bent like a busted spoon
His coatÕs all patched with memories
And his shoes have matched his miles
ThereÕs a hundred crazy stories in his head
Sometimes you ride down a golden highway
And sometimes, youÕre just hangin' by a threadÉ

2. ThereÕs still glimpses of his majesty back from
When he was the news
The pin up boy from all those magazines
He'd be the first to let you know that she was
Too good to be true
But it was easy to believe her way back then
As they called out and cheered him
She conspired to cheat him blind
She took him down till he no longer bled
Sometimes you ride down a golden highway
And sometimes, youÕre just hangin' by a threadÉ

3. She was long, long gone, just another
Thief out in the night
All she left him was a real good spell of bad luck
Well youÕd think he was done and dusted
That he would reason wrong from right
But she's the dream, that he never could give up
So he sits there starinÕ through the embers
Till he sees her face again
But love for one is none, itÕs cold and dead
Sometimes you ride down a golden highway
And sometimes, youÕre just hangin' by a threadÉ
Sometimes we ride down that golden highway
And sometimes, oh sometimes ,
Guess weÕre just hangin' by a threadÉ
