Bio
Our name Mal-Demise, to many of us means the death of evil. But it can also mean many other things. We are a young and growing band. Starting in 2004 with just 2 members, Adam Farfan on Guitar and Kanon Powell on drums. They had written 9 songs together. Then during the summer of 2006 joined, Jimmy Forman on Guitar, Andrew Ronnenburg on Vocals, and Mike Dehn on Bass. Trashing 3 songs and re-writting the other 6 has changed our sound alot. We use a guitar synthesizer to add a little bit of a melodic sound to our metal. We tune our guitars down a little bit as well to give it a little heavier of a tone. We are very dedicated to our music. Many of us have dedicated our entire lives to music. Jimmy Forman lost his father in the year 2000. His father was an amazing musician who played lead guitar in an 80s-90s metal band called Storm Front. After losing his father he has made it up to himself that he must continue what his father has started. Kanon Powell has gone through many life changing events. As a Christian he has dedicating all of his talent and music to God.
Our influences include many metal bands. Just to list afew: The Black Dahlia Murder, Chimaira, Lamb of God, Devildriver, Slipknot, As I Lay Dying, Kryoburn, Cradle of Filth, Fear Factory, and many, many others.
