Italian rock band from Southern Mountains, good music, fat 'n' loud live show! Check Out our songs on

MALERA was born in May 2006. Three guys with different musical experiences give life to a "Modern Rock" with biting tones that they themselves called "Absinthe Rock”.
Danilo, singer, guitarist, brings a wealth of music that ranges from new wave to the primordial rock of the 90s, to the electronics environment of the moment. A lot of punk rock and metal crossover for Mennato, drummer. Completely different is the music loved by Stefano (bass) : Californian death metal and 90s rock Italian 80s.

From 2006 to 2007 Malera had recorded two demo tapes. The first, entitled "Malera", was printed in September 2006 and deployed in just 100 copies during first concerts of the band. Thanks to the second mini-cd, "Polaroid", printed in 300 copies in October 2007, Malera signed their first recording contract with the indie label "Genepi Productions", owned by italian composer Aldo Azzaro (later" North2North Records ").

From this collaboration born the first album of nine tracks, "Dentro Lo Specchio" (there is an English version available called "Inside the Mirror") and published in September 2008 on the iTunes Store and eMusic. Several interviews are still available on the web, including on RTM (italian radio station).
In november 2008 was shot the video for the single "5 AM", directed by Antonietta Fabiana Lupo.

MALERA feel the need to push further: in February 2009 Alfredo (guitars) joined the band. With this new entry start "Esplose il mio Seme Tour" in summer of 2009.
From the extracts of all videos collected in over 30 live show, was realized the second videovlip (for the song "Okki"), where live scenes alternate frames of the movie" Last Woman on Earth ".
In November 2009 MALERA begin to work to their second full-lenght...
