Bio
Malhombre makes parlor music. It revolves around the songs of F.A. Blasco. The music is bred from the influences of French chanson, Spanish music, Americana, a variety of Latin music, with hidden accents from Africa and North Africa. It is folk and traditional in that it is created the "old way", always trying to keep the music at a human level. A revolving cast of characters keeps things fresh and brings in more angles to this music in which virtuosity is largely ignored in the service of the song. This, of course, requires that the music be played by great musicians who are ready to open their hearts and minds.
