MALLORY LEWIS
Biography

Emmy Award winning writer/producer, Mallory Lewis, has worked closely with her mother since she was 12 years old when she began ghost writing her “Shari’s” newspaper column. Although she started as a puppeteer, Mallory began writing for Lamb Chop’s Play-Along in its first season. She soon took over post-production, and was producing the show mid-way through its 5-year run. Mallory acted a similar capacity on Shari’s three prime-time specials and served as Executive Story Editor and Producer of The Charlie Horse Music Pizza, Shari’s final series.

In the last few years Mallory has focused on the production of Lifestyle/Adventure/Extreme Sports programming, including the 1999 Women’s Skydiving World Record Event, “Jump For The Cause,” which raised over $300,000 for a breast cancer charity. Mallory has had 20 children’s novels published, a number of which have been optioned for television.

Since the death of her mother, Mallory has begun performing with her little sister, Lamb Chop, at both live and televised events. On May 19, Mallory and Lamb Chop accepted an Emmy Award on behalf of her mother for Outstanding Performer on a Children’s Series. Mallory and Lamb Chop are currently in development on an animated series (Lamb Chop is very excited, as she has always wanted to be a cartoon!).
