Mallory Peyton

 Orlando, Florida, USA

Mallory Peyton is a singer-songwriter from Orlando who aims to "tell it like it is!" through her guitar-driven pop sound and down-to-earth lyrics.

Orlando-born Mallory Peyton is no stranger to the stage and comes armed with a range of experiences in the music world and her own life to bring her songs to light. Mallory has worked hard over the years to sharpen her skills as a singer-songwriter, most recently shredding through over a hundred gigs in the all-girl rock group Heroine, who have appeared at Beachstock 2010 (opening for Chevelle and Filter), The First Annual Orange Ave. Jam in 2010, Florida Music Festival 2010 and 2011, among others. She's also well versed in the backstage side of the media industry, putting both her degrees in Audio Engineering and Entertainment Business to use working with Orlando's own TOP40 station XL1067. Through it all she's managed to pick up an endorsement through Orlando Gibson Guitar Room.

Her current approach to singer-songwriting changes her focus from big-stage rock to more intimate subject matters, from relationships with friends and lovers to working hard on her own, to turn dreams into reality (something she is very familiar with). Her alt-pop guitar style and commanding vocals reflect the ten-year-old girl learning her favorite Nirvana and MxPx songs on her first Fender Stratocaster while echoing the approachable energy found in some of her favorite modern pop artists, such as Katy Perry to Demi Lovato. Her songs invite the listener into familiar territory and keep them there with new views on the struggles of life and love!

Mallory Peyton recently signed with Society Entertainment and has a bright future ahead of her. She has spent the last several years working on her own material and plans to release an EP early this year and play as many shows as possible to get the word out!
