Malya Saadi is a young singer algerian-born, daughter of H'ssicen Saadi, great songwriter and performer of Chaabi. She's coming with a new album entitled "Ya Bhar", a mosaic of music and a certain attachment to popular heritage. There are sounds of Latin and reggae influences Oran, Gnawa or chaabi.

Biography

Malya is a young singer of Algerian origin. At age 14 she left Algiers and arrived in France where she discovers new musical influences. It could well enrich its range of new influences ... soon she joined groups led by Chico LASTIMELI which the Gipsy Kings with whom she made her stage experience for three years.

In 2003 she was invited to participate in the Festival of the Algerian woman which was a pioneering event for his career ... Malya has always surrounded by music, his father already in Algiers H'ssicen Saadi, great songwriter and performer of Chaabi (popular song ) sensitize his daughter to this delicate music and continues to flow through the veins of the woman who arrives today with this first album. She mix different influences, a mosaic reflecting the rich musical from the music world gained by directors the latter but also a certain attachment to popular heritage. There are sounds of Latin, reggae, influences Oran, or Gnawa and boldly chaabi ... This project is a collaboration with colorful arrangements and art direction are signed by Mohamed Abdenour said "Ptit Moh" and Smail Benhouhou and where great musicians of WorldMusic cross.
