Mama B & Freight Train's influences are many and include great blues men and women, past and present, such as: Robert Johnson, Etta James, Howlin' Wolf, Memphis Minnie, Bessie Smith, Muddy Waters, Koko Taylor, and many more. "We like doing music with a lot of emotion and attitude. Our goal is to reach out to the audience and touch their hearts. Music is therapeutic and we'd like to "doctor" as many people as we can."
