Bio

Mana3 (Chris Prenter/Moala Withey/Daryl Withey), part of the so-called ‘new breed’ of internet savvy artist’s has been selling it’s music online for the past two years. They have been their distribution label’s top download artist for the past year, with a respectable 1,000 downloads per month average - these sales are mainly generated in the United States. They are receiving on average 200 hit’s a day on their myspace page (www.myspace.com/mananewzealand) which has been achieved without promotional advertising. Mana3 have released two self-produced albums (Resonater - September 2004, START AT THE END September 2006) which they are currently promoting. To date, they have secured gigs alongside of Scribe, Fur Patrol, Dave Dobbyn and Fat Freddy’s Drop having played at the likes of The Jackson Street Fiesta - Petone, The Summer Hummer Festival - Masterton and most recently The Parihaka International Peace Festival on 6 January 2007 featuring Che Fu, Kora, Katchafire, Cornerstone Roots and many other top acts.

Mana3 have recently entered into a remix project with New York based Turmic Records artist “Cee-Rock, The Fury”. The Fury was featured in a video for Hip Hop artist’s NAS & Diddy, and has recently released his album “Bringin the Howza” in South Africa. There are negotiations currently taking place for The Fury’s music to be released in New Zealand. Mana3 and The Fury are looking forward to being able to work together further in the future, with The Fury recording remix versions of two songs from Mana3’s latest album START AT THE END.

Mana3 will soon have videos for their two current singles Killafornia and Bodysway available online and on selected music shows.
Most of the interest in Mana3 online has come from America where most of their hits and downloads have been generated so they would like to make inroads into this market where there is obvious interest.
This is a very hardworking, savvy band and would be an asset to any label or company interested in working with them.
The Mana3 track Little Things Is being added to The American Dominos Pizza website for a promotion with My tracks.

Mana3 have secured a 15 city tour of India in Jan 2008
