you see me walkin down the road
this lonely path i'm walkin on
won't you come along and walk with me
you see i'm leaving this old town that's left me bitter inside

i wanna be free to be anyone i want to be free to do all that i desire i wanna be finally be free i wanna be free

running from the past i live
broken friendships haunting me
seems they don't remember knowing me
all i'm left with has been takin away
hear my pleading shouts within

i wanna be free to be anyone i want to be free to do all that i desire i wanna be finally be free i wanna be free

am i living for a reason
have i made a difference in life
all i want all i want is to be
a somebody

i wanna be free i wanna be free to do all that i desire i wanna be i wanna finally be me i wanna be free

you see me walkin down the road
this lonely path i'm walkin on
oh it won't be long
i'm gonna be free

one of those days

Written By: mandy funk

it's one of those days
i just wanna drive in the rain
and let all the memories of you be washed away
it's obvious to me you're not coming back anytime soon
and i'd be lying to myself if i said you no longer were needed

but i can't go there no more
reminding my heart of the hurt when you walked out and left
with no possibilities of ever coming back coming back come back to me

it's one of those days
i just wanna drive in the rain
and let my mind think of you for just one more day
i've noticed that you sometimes look at me with those eyes
and i'd be lying to myself if i said i no longer thought of you like i use to

but i can't go there no more
reminding my heart of the hurt when you walked out and left
with no possibilities of ever coming back coming back come back to me

are you one of those who believes there's only one love out there for me well i'd have to disagree
love may come and go as it may please
but if we make the choice
give it time might take some work
cause love won't always be what we thought it could be

but i can't go there no more
reminding my heart of the hurt when you walked out and left
with no possibilities of ever coming back coming back come back to me

are you ever comin back comin back come back to me

it's one of those days
i just wanna drive in the rain
and let all the memories of you
be washed away

that's life

Written By: mandy funk

i pretend that i know your life story and all of the places you've been
and i watch as you pass by and don't even see me sitting on a bench here alone on the side of the street
are you worried that she doesn't love you no more are you thinkin of leaving walkin out the door
are you happy and satisfied with who you are

cause that's life and it's not gonna wait it's sweet and yet bitter
you can almost taste it and
there's so much life you haven't lived yet today

i imagine you're tired from walking
you pause with your hand on the bench and you give me a smile that i know has lived quite a while
and i ask if you'd like to sit
are you worried that you'll loose the love of your life
would you say it's been worth the fight even though we all die
do you have any words of advice you'd like to tell me

well that's life and it's not gonna wait it's sweet and yet bitter
you can almost taste it and
there's so much life you haven't lived

and my time will fly by just like it did for you and i sure hope i do it right cause i've only got one chance to live and one chance to die and i'm choosing to live in the moment of today

that's life and it's not gonna wait it's sweet and yet bitter
you can almost taste it and
there's so much life you haven't lived yet today
